What if I don’t like the design you suggest?

Yes, I offer guidance on selecting all aspects of the space, including flooring, benchtops, cabinetry, paint colours, and more. I will provide recommendations based on your style preferences and functionality needs.
How do I communicate with you during the project?
For full-service projects, we’ll have regular in-person or virtual check-ins depending on the project’s stage. For e-design, we communicate via email, video calls, or through project management tools. I ensure that you have all the support you need throughout the process.
Can you work with my contractor or builder?
Absolutely! I am happy to collaborate with your existing contractors or builders to ensure the design vision is implemented smoothly and effectively.
What’s the difference between full-service design and e-design?
Full-service design includes in-person consultations, custom design work, and project management to bring your vision to life. E-design is a virtual design service where I provide a complete design plan, including mood boards, colour palettes, and shopping lists, allowing you to implement the design at your own pace.
Do you work with a specific budget range?
I work with various budget ranges and always aim to provide creative solutions that suit your financial plan. I’ll work with you to prioritize your needs, whether you’re on a smaller budget or looking for a high-end design.
Can I still use my current furniture and decor?
Absolutely! If you have pieces you love, I’m happy to incorporate them into your new design. I’ll help you figure out how to best use your existing items while also adding new pieces to enhance the overall look.
Can you help me with the shopping and sourcing of furniture and decor?
Yes, I can provide a shopping list and direct you to where you can purchase the items I’ve recommended. For in-person clients, I also offer assistance with sourcing and purchasing items locally as well as online.
How does e-design work?
With e-design, we work together virtually. After a paid initial consultation, I’ll provide you with a custom design package that includes mood boards, a detailed shopping list, colour palettes, and 3D visualizations. You can work through the design at your own pace and make purchases from the comfort of your home.
Do I need to be in your area (The Limestone Coast) to work with you?
I offer in-person design services for clients in the Limestone Coast region. However, I also offer virtual e-design services across Australia, allowing me to assist clients regardless of location.
How do I know if I need a professional interior designer?
If you’re struggling to make design decisions, need help creating a cohesive style, staying within a certain budget, or feel overwhelmed by the number of choices, a professional interior designer can save you time, money and stress, while also ensuring the space is functional, beautiful, and tailored to your needs.
What if I don’t know my style?
I’ll guide you through discovering your interior style. We’ll go over your preferences, lifestyle, and inspirations, to find what you are drawn to, and even collect images from Pinterest that reflect your taste.
How do I stay within my budget?
I’ll work with you to establish a realistic budget upfront. I offer cost-effective design solutions, and I always strive to find the best deals on quality items, as well as offering my trade discounts where possible. I can also provide a shopping plan to ensure we stick to the budget.
Do you offer project management services?
Yes, I offer project management for larger design projects. This includes coordinating contractors, overseeing the installation of furniture and decor, and ensuring the design is executed as planned. This service is part of my full-service design offering.
Can you help with the layout and flow of my space?
Absolutely! I specialise in creating functional, balanced spaces by optimising layouts and traffic flow. Whether it’s a living room, kitchen, or office, I’ll ensure your space is both beautiful and functional.
Will you be doing the installation or just providing designs?
For full-service projects, I can oversee the installation to ensure everything is arranged according to the design. For e-design services, I provide you with a detailed implementation guide to help you execute the design yourself or with the help of contractors.
Do I need to purchase all the items you recommend?
You’re not obligated to purchase everything I recommend, but I do provide a curated list of high-quality items that fit your design and budget. You can choose to purchase these items or find alternatives that suit your preferences.
What happens if something doesn’t fit or arrive on time?
I always work to ensure items fit within the space and arrive on time. However, if there’s an issue with the fit or delivery, I’ll work with you to find a solution, whether that’s an alternative item or adjusting the layout.
Do you offer a warranty on products?
I don’t offer warranties on the products themselves, as they are purchased through suppliers. However, I always ensure to recommend trusted brands and high-quality products, and I will guide you through selecting items that suit your needs and budget.
Will you provide a shopping list with specific brands and stores?
For both full-service and e-design projects, I provide a detailed shopping list with suggested brands and stores. For e-design, I ensure you have links to purchase items online, and for full-service design, I help you source items locally and online.
Can I get a discount if I’m redesigning multiple rooms?
I offer custom pricing for large-scale projects or multiple rooms. Please reach out to discuss your needs, and I can provide you with a tailored package.
